Compassion in Action

Danie B Caring is a tax-exempt 501(3)(c) charitable organization dedicated to standing with young girls, and survivors of lupus and breast cancer as they deal with the unique challenges that test their resilience. We provide a safe and empowering space for young girls to develop unshakable self-esteem, for lupus warriors to feel seen while dealing with an invisible disease, and for breast cancer survivors to reclaim their power.

Danie B Caring, was established by media personality, Danie B in 2025 because Danie B has always had the urge to help people.  

After her mother was diagnosed with lupus, Danie knew she had to do something, so she sought out programs like the Social Butterflies Foundation to help her mom and other lupus warriors get the aid and support they needed. 

After Danie. B watched her young cousin get diagnosed, fight, and beat breast cancer, she felt the need to do something, so she jumped at the opportunity to become a voice for the GA Breast Cancer Alliance. 

Growing up, Danie struggled with self-esteem as a young girl, so she also took a special interest in wanting to do something to instill confidence in young girls. Since she rocks her natural hair, she wanted to do something to help girls love their natural hair. 

All these passions and personal experiences worked together to create Danie B Caring, whose goal is to do something unforgettable that creates experiences that leave lasting impressions on the communities we serve.

Danie B's Celebrity Dress Swap

This event empowers high school girls by boosting their self-esteem and confidence through an enriching fashion and beauty experience. 

We host a mixer that encourages prominent figures to donate elegant dresses to high school girls. The girls are gifted the dresses at an event where they also receive makeup, skincare, hair styling, and jewelry consultations.

Paint n' Walk 

The program is designed to promote lupus awareness and support lupus warriors in their fight against this invisible disease. 

In this event, we team up with the Social Butterflies Foundation, an organization that aids lupus warriors in helping to meet their everyday day needs. After our walk, we reward our participants with a paint party. 

Love The Hair You’re In

This program celebrates Crown Day by empowering young girls to embrace their crowns by learning to style and feel comfortable and beautiful in their natural hair. 

For the elementary school-age children, we get a speaker to come in and talk with them about loving their hair and at the end, they walk away with natural hair dolls so that they have something deemed beautiful that looks like them to play with. 

For girls ages 11-14, we host natural hair clinics that show them how to style and wear their natural hair, giving them the confidence to be themselves. Each girl in the clinic walks away with products that aid in helping them with their natural hair journeys.
